The MLR Program
The Maintenance & Light Repair (MLR) program prepares students for entry-level employment as automotive technicians for service departments. Students spend nine to twelve months in Ford Factory training gaining the skills to work as a technician at a Ford or Lincoln dealership, or a Quick Lane Tire and Auto Center. Upon successful completion students will earn up to 25% of Ford Service Technician Specialty Training (STST).

MLR CERTIFICATION
Our MLR program exposes you to computer and mechanical skills required by service technicians using sophisticated testing equipment to diagnose vehicles. Today’s vehicles are more technically advanced and use complex systems to control vehicle functions, this makes MLR training a great addition to your skill set.

The FACT elective at Universal Technical Institute provides 15 weeks of authorized Ford Motor Company technician training to launch and advance your career.
